About This Site

Macomb County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site for people trying to understand where Macomb County booking information may be found. Current custody, records requests, and court status use different official channels. This site brings those paths together without publishing a booking-photo gallery.

How the Macomb Record Path Works

Michigan public-record access can be useful, but it does not put every booking detail in one place. The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office operates the county jail and its current-custody JailTracker path; the MCSO Records Office handles records and written Freedom of Information Act requests; and courts supply the later case record. The Michigan Department of Corrections, or MDOC, is a separate system for state-supervised people, not the ordinary Macomb County jail population. We explain those official routes and their limits, including Michigan FOIA, MCL 15.231 et seq., and applicable exemptions in MCL 15.243. We do not host booking photographs or official records.

Resources Collected Here

The site is organized around the questions most likely to require an official source.

  • The home page explains the official current-custody, booking-record, recent-arrest, and Michigan-records paths in one guide.
  • City pages for Warren Busted Mugshots, Sterling Heights Busted Mugshots, and Mount Clemens Busted Mugshots clarify when a local police record may differ from a county-jail record.
  • The county JailTracker route, MDOC OTIS, and court resources serve different purposes, so the site distinguishes current county custody from state supervision and later case information.
  • The record-request guidance describes the MCSO Records Office, documented copy fees, and the written-request process rather than promising that any record or image will be released.

Limits of This Reference Site

This is a privately operated site. It is not connected with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, the Macomb County Jail, MDOC, any corrections department, or another government agency.

  • We cannot hold, release, transfer, or otherwise manage a person in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for someone else.
  • We cannot provide legal advice or interpret a court order.
  • We cannot guarantee that a phone number, fee, office schedule, roster entry, or address remains current.

Only the responsible public office can confirm a person’s present custody status, charges, or release information. An arrest or booking entry is an accusation, not a finding of guilt, and every person is presumed innocent unless a court proves otherwise.

Search-Partner Disclosure

Some pages may contain search boxes supplied by independent providers. Those providers set their own results, terms, handling of submitted information, and any pricing. If a visitor chooses a paid partner service after using one of those tools, this site may receive a referral fee that helps support free access to its guides; that relationship does not give us control over a partner’s results or charges.
